Stormy Monday

Stormy Monday – 36x48 Acrylic on Canvas

Stormy Monday is a powerful exploration of mood, movement, and shifting light. Warm earth tones collide with cool blues and teals, creating a dramatic interplay that feels like weather rolling across an emotional landscape. Soft gradients melt into rugged, textured passages, giving the painting a sense of turbulence settling into calm—an echo of those quiet, reflective Mondays when the world feels heavy yet full of possibility.

The composition draws the eye inward, where golden ochre and muted yellow tones break through the darker palette like a fleeting beam of light. This contrast adds depth and dimension, making the piece feel alive with motion and meaning. Its expressive brushwork and layered textures make Stormy Monday a striking centerpiece for modern homes, creative workspaces, and art‑forward interiors.
